Converting Casa Esther Roca to 3D

After a couple of classes learning 3D in AutoCad, we were ready for the conversion of our house to 3D. That meant extracting our flat, 2D wall plans to actual three dimensional walls in different materials (for the moment, that means just putting every wall with a different material or color in a separate layer). Among other things, we noticed that we had put the wrong height in our elevations and sections, and had to change them all in our 2D plans as everything in 2D has to correspond to everything in 3D. We also made window cills, door frames, windows and doors. It was a very time consuming project since our 3D skills are quite poor. We still have to make stairs from the basement to the first floor and put furnitures inside the house before continuing with the ground outside the house, the pool, driveway, rendering and lighting.
